  • Tortisefolk
  • Bipedal, human sized, skinny for a tortise? Malnourished looking?
  • Eyes: dark and a little crazy
  • Loud twang
  • Trailer-park trash demeanor
  • Chaotic - Spread a new dangerous idea
  • Seasoned war veteran and will let you know
    • Did not win the war
  • Can't use his legs very well; has training wheels drilled into his shell
  • Wears a sleeveless tunic
  • Symbol of past sacrifices is dogtags from the war
  • Had fire magic before the army
    • Came into magic young, against the will of their parents
  • Went to war willingly when it came, but wouldn't do it again
  • Best way he has to pay the bills
  • Ye-ye's folk live to ~200; he's the equivalent of 60
  • BOND: Sang stories of Teddy long before I ever met them in person

  • Wears a cat collar he inherited from his adopted parents

  • Left home to find a mystical bone of power that can kill the evil cat wizard that killed his adopted parents
    • Left behind his cat siblings and his favorite toys

  • BOND: Bug is always getting into trouble; I must protect them from themselves

  • Amnesia; remembers walking out of a cave as an adult, but nothing before that
    • Been maybe two years
    • Doesn't think much about her life before
  • Loves shiny things; willing to do violence to get them
  • Chaotic: Leap into danger w/o a plan
    • Very ADHD
  • Small for a halfling
  • Bright and big eyes (too big)
  • Short hair
  • Plain, blend-in clothes
  • Super smart but impulsive and unwise
  • BOND: Teddie has my back when things go wrong
  • BOND: Yeye's ways are strange and confusing; war doesn't really make sense to Bug
  • BOND: Elise knows incriminating details about me

  • Long braided hair
  • Bright sparkling gold eyes
  • Basic clothing
  • Small antlers
  • Chaotic - "Destroy a symbol of civilization" - ecoterrorist shit
  • Great Forest and Towering Mountains
    • Started in forest and moved to the mountains to get away from encroaching people
  • Old enough to see cities take over more of the wilderness
  • Not part of a druidic tradition, magic is from her personal link with nature/trial and error
  • BOND: The spirits spoke to her of a great danger that follows Teddie
  • BOND: Has showed Bug a secret rite of the land
  • BOND: Concerned about Yeye's ability to survive in the dungeon

  • Was part of an army unit that was scattered ahead of the Cat Wizard when the kobold nation was broken

  • Human chief of the village being raided from a nearby dungeon

2. Session Log

2.1. Session 0 - [2024-04-01 Mon]

  • Party got through most of a dungeon with little difficulty, but ran into a trap on the last door and a squad of kobold constructs
    • They took them out with some difficulty, and secured a treasure of 400g

2.2. Session 1 - [2024-04-04 Thu]

  • Party exits the dungeon and it immediately closes behind them
  • Party stumbles upon a ramshackle guardpost in the road
    • Teddie realizes it's bad news; they go around it
  • Teddie meets another kobold (Clifton) for the first time at Redport, who tells him about the cat wizard breaking the kobold nation
    • The kobold hands him his old axe, from when he was in the kobold army fighting against the
    • Tells them to meet Aredhel at the AdvGuild and ask for a job
  • Aredhel gives them a job; a village a couple days away has requested help dealing with some bandits who have holed up in a dungeon
    • The villagers haven't been able to break into the dungeon to get rid of the bandits, and no other adventurers have taken the job b/c it probably won't pay well
  • Be back in 3 days, attack at dusk
  • Arrow traps firing from each side of the first chamber, manned by bandits standing behind wood cover
  • Dungeon is a couple hours away from village
  • Party heads out to the dungeon; Bug tries to be sneaky and peek in the first room, but only succeeds in getting the guards' attention
